Spiral separator is a good equipment used for coal slime sorting in modern times. It has the advantages 

of simple structure, high sorting efficiency, no noise, no rotating parts, no power, little maintenance, long 

service life and so on.

Material in the spiral separator is basically in the axial flow and radial flow under the complex action of light 

and heavy minerals according to the density of the separation. In the spiral groove, heavy minerals gather 

in the inner edge and light minerals gather in the outer edge. Light and heavy material products are 

intercepted separately at the end. The sorting effect is not only related to the nature of the mineral itself,

 but also directly related to the structural parameters of the spiral separator: inclination, pitch, diameter, 

section shape, etc.
